“All your ADMs. One place. Instant playback.”

Immersive Master Pro is now making noise. Rendered noise.

New in version 1.4:

  • Dolby Atmos Rendered Playback

  • Custom File Naming

  • CSV Reports

Building on our powerful ADM batch processing tools, Immersive Master Pro 1.4 introduces certified Dolby Atmos Rendered Playback, real-time sample-rate conversion, CSV reporting, and a Custom File Naming system designed to satisfy the most challenging industry spec sheets.

And, this update is free for all version 1.3 users.

• Dolby Atmos Playback •

In our own studios, we’ve long needed an app where we can load all the ADMs coming and going throughout the day, and audition them reliably without interrupting the work in the DAW. And for music mixers who often work at 96KHz, we needed an application that adapts seamlessly to the studio’s current hardware sampling rate. Immersive Master Pro 1.4 now fills that need with Dolby Atmos Rendered Playback and real-time sample-rate conversion. When the master file’s sampling rate matches Core Audio and the D/A converter, playback is sonically identical to the Dolby Atmos Renderer. When it doesn’t, IMP performs high-quality, real-time sample-rate conversion for the best possible listening experience.

Immersive Master Pro already includes Batch Trim & Downmix, and Remove Silent Channels. These panels now operate in real time, allowing you to hear the effect of parameter changes on your master files before delivery.

• Custom File Naming •

Immersive Master Pro now includes an advanced, token-based Custom File Naming system designed to meet the requirements of complex delivery spec sheets. Custom naming templates can be defined per output format, allowing repeatable, reliable workflows throughout reversioning and QC.

At its core, are tokens for master file name, user-defined aliases, audio measurements, frame rate, and dates. Templates can be saved and reused so that every file leaving your facility conforms to expected specifications.

The P&E Wing of the Recording Academy wants to see delivered Dolby Atmos content with this naming system:

ArtistInitials_TrackNumber_SongTitle_MixerInitialsRevisionNumber_ApprovedAtmosMix_ADM_format_sampleratebitdepth.wav

Using IMP 1.4, the following naming template satisfies the spec and can be used throughout the project:

JLA_$n_NR04_Approved$a1Mix_$a2_$sr$bd

• CSV Reports •

Names, metadata and audio measurements for all highlighted masters can now be exported as a generic CSV (character-separated-values) document for further processing or reporting. We’re already finding this feature useful in our own workflows, and we look forward to expanding it based on user feedback.

New customers can try Immersive Master Pro free for 30 days. Existing customers who have not yet upgraded to our 2nd-generation license can do so at a competitive upgrade price.
